Seven Worlds Collide Again

As a reminder, Neil Finn and friends are revisiting their 7 Worlds Collide project from 2001 and have reunited in New Zealand the past few days for a 3-week recording session and a series of live performances. Participants include Neil Finn, Ed O’Brien and Phil Selway (of Radiohead), Johnny Marr, Jeff Tweedy and Glenn Kotche (of Wilco) and more.

Well, a few videos are starting to pop up—some official teasers, some fan shot video from the shows. There’s really nothing to give any impression as to how the writing and recording is going but there is a live performance of “Please Please Please, Let Me Get What I Want” by Johnny Marr, and apparently Phil Selway is breaking out from behind the drum kit and presenting one of his own compositions.
